How to enrol
Application process for enrolment
The Australian Agricultural College Corporation offers a wide range of Certificate and Diploma courses. Depending on your preferred course students should apply directly to the Australian Agricultural College Corporation or through Queensland Tertiary Admission Centre (QTAC).
QTAC Applications for Full time Campus Diploma courses
- Current Year 12 Domestic students and non school leavers interested in enrolling in a full-time 3 semester Diploma course should lodge an application with the Queensland Tertiary Admission Centre (QTAC).
- For further information on the QTAC application process visit the Queensland Tertiary Admission Centre (QTAC) or contact QTAC on (07) 3858 1222.
- Once your application has been received by QTAC and course offerings made, AACC will send an enrolment pack.
- In addition to the QTAC application students are encouraged to submit the expression of interest form [PDF 39kb] and fax it to their preferred campus of the Australian Agricultural College Corporation.
- Please note the courses available through QTAC are:
- 585338 Diploma of Rural Business Management offered at Dalby
- 585464 Diploma of Agriculture offered at Dalby
- 586462 Diploma of Agriculture (Beef Production) offered at Emerald
- 586464 Diploma of Agriculture offered at Emerald
- 588314 Diploma of Conservation and Land Management (Lands, Parks and Wildlife) offered at Mareeba.
All other Full time Campus Certificate & Diploma courses
- Domestic students interested in enrolling in the Australian Agricultural College Corporation should start the application process by completing the expression of interest form [PDF 39kb] and faxing it to their preferred campus.
- After receiving the form, a college staff member will be in touch to discuss the expression of interest.
- Individuals interested in full-time courses will be required to attend an interview, and the staff member will arrange a suitable interview time. The interview will be conducted at an agreed time and date (this may be arranged to be conducted in person or over the phone).
- Applicants will be advised of the outcome of the interview process. Successful applicants will be sent an enrolment pack outlining all necessary information for the nominated course of study.
For Industry or school based apprenticeships or traineeships
- Individuals interested in training for an apprenticeship or traineeship program should contact their preferred campus.
For Industry based short courses
- Individuals interested in short courses should also complete and submit the expression of interest form [PDF 39kb]. They will have either a college staff member call up to discuss training options, or have an enrolment/information pack sent out to them.
