Health cover requirements
The college has policies and procedures for handling any health situation or emergency. Due to the nature of practical farm learning, strict Workplace Health and Safety laws apply to all students and instructors while they are on campus.
All international students enrolled for courses that are 12 weeks or longer are required, by law, to have their own health insurance cover called Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). OSHC is insurance that provides cover for the costs of medical and hospital care that students may need while in Australia. OSHC will also pay for most prescription drugs and emergency ambulance transport.
